Independent technology guidance Research first. Recommendations second.

About Sitopedia

Sitopedia is an independent technology research and decision platform. We publish practical guides that help readers understand software, AI tools, hosting, domains and hardware before they spend money or commit a workflow to a product.

What we are building

Technology recommendations are often reduced to feature lists, launch prices or a universal “best” choice. Sitopedia starts with the reader’s situation: the work to be done, the limits that matter, the people responsible for operating the product and the cost of changing course later.

Our long-term goal is a technology decision library that combines researched guides, transparent comparisons, structured product profiles and practical decision tools.

How Sitopedia is funded

Some links may be affiliate links. If a reader follows one and completes a qualifying action or purchase, Sitopedia may receive a commission at no extra cost to the reader. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a positive conclusion or a particular ranking. Relevant relationships are disclosed near recommendations and commercial links.

What readers can expect

  • A clear audience and problem for each guide.
  • Primary sources for material claims whenever available.
  • Pricing and policies identified as time-sensitive.
  • Meaningful limitations and reasons a product may not fit.
  • A distinction between desk research and documented hands-on testing.
  • Corrections when credible new evidence changes a conclusion.

Current coverage

Sitopedia currently publishes in five technology segments: AI tools, software, hosting, domains and hardware. The library is still growing. We prefer a smaller number of useful pages over publishing large volumes of thin summaries.
